Michael Neuendorf - Chief Executive Officer
A Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Michael S. Neuendorf serves as Merit Health Wesley’s Chief Executive Officer. Neuendorf earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He served in the United States Army as a member of the Alabama and Georgia National Guard from 1992 to 2003 where he was a medical evacuation pilot, unit mobilization officer and unit weapons qualification officer.
Before joining the Merit Health Wesley team, Neuendorf served as CEO and Assistant CEO at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Alabama. Prior to his tenure at South Baldwin, he was the director of internal consulting at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He also worked with VHA Consulting Services and Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Neuendorf and his wife, Amanda, are the proud parents of three young boys, Sellers, Gabe and Beck.
Michael Irvin, Chief Operating Officer
Michael comes to Merit Health Wesley from Medical Center Enterprise
in Enterprise, ALA, where he served since 2013 as Assistant CEO. Prior
to his work in Alabama, he worked for six years at Lake Wales Medical
Center in Lake Wales, FLA as Director of Physician Practice Management.
He received both a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of
Business Studies from Webber International University in Babson Park,
FLA. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and
has always served the communities he lives in by being actively
involved with local Chambers of Commerce.
Warren Ladner - Chief Financial Officer
Ladner came to Merit Health Wesley after working for Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. where he also served as CFO. Prior to his work in Florida, he worked as CFO for Riverview Regional in Gadsden, Ala. and Natchez Community Hospital in Natchez, Miss., and as Director of Finance at Biloxi Regional in Biloxi, Miss.
Ladner is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Chartered Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP). He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University and his Master of Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. He is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is also active in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
Ladner has strong ties to Mississippi and is a native of Gulfport. Ladner and his wife, Melissa, have 4 children, Chloe, Evan, Gabby and Brooke.
Phebe Mckay - Chief Nursing Officer
Phebe Mckay, RN, BSN, is Chief Nursing Officer for Merit Health Wesley. She has nearly 25 years of clinical experience and has worked in administrative roles for more than 20 years.
Phebe earned her RN certification at Pensacola Junior College and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of West Florida, before beginning her nursing career in her home state of Florida. She has since worked in Kentucky, Missouri and Texas, serving in administrative capacities for much of her career.
Phebe has three children, Daniel, Parker and Ericka. She and her husband, Kevin, are proud grandparents to two grandsons. Phebe is also a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
