Comfort and Care—From the Moment You Enter

Whether you are checking in for a short test or an extensive procedure, we want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Which is why we encourage you to bring the following items with you for your stay:

Clothing—the hospital provides gowns but feel free to bring your own pajamas, gowns, robes, slippers and socks. Maternity patients should also bring a going home blanket and outfit for their new little ones.

Toilet Articles—toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, deodorant, shaving articles, tissues, personal toilet articles, lip balm, lotion and powder. The hospital stocks each of these items as well.

Medications—please bring with you a list of all medications you are currently taking. Let your nurse know if you have brought any with you.

Valuables—each patient room has a storage area for clothing and toiletries. However, we encourage you to leave all valuables at home, including jewelry, cash, credit cards, cell phones, etc. If you arrive at the hospital with valuables, please send them home with a family member. If you must keep them in the hospital, please notify our security department, so they can place the items in our safe.

Upon admission, you will receive an identification wristband, which will include your name, physician's name and other important information. Please take a moment to verify the information and notify your nurse immediately if changes need to be made. You will wear this identification band throughout your hospital stay.
