James Glisson, MD, Joins Wesley Medical Center

Hattiesburg, MS – Wesley Medical Center welcomes James Glisson, M.D., Pharm. D., to the medical staff as a full-time Hospitalist.    

Dr. Glisson received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He also earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacy resident in north Mississippi before beginning medical school.

Dr. Glisson comes to Wesley Medical Center from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he was on the faculty. His research in the area of Dietary Supplements has been published in the American Journal of Medicine, and numerous other medical publications.
