Wesley Earns Recognition for Employee Satisfaction
 

WESLEY MEDICAL CENTER EARNS RECOGNITION FOR EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION

Hattiesburg, MS - Wesley Medical Center was recently recognized with an Excellence through Insight award for "Overall Employee Satisfaction" by HealthStream Research, the research business group of HealthStream, Inc. (NASDAQ:HSTM).

"We are all on a journey to be the best place for employees to work," said Wesley Medical Center CEO Mike Neuendorf. "We know our employees are the key to the success of our hospital. They are well-trained, passionate about patient care and committed to excellence."

Wesley Medical Center was awarded this honor for its commitment to excellence in employee satisfaction and engagement. The employee satisfaction survey, administered yearly by HealthStream Research, asked 23 questions, which evaluated several key areas related to the employee's work environment, pay and benefits, supervision, hiring and promotion practices, leadership and quality. This is the second consecutive year Wesley Medical Center has received this honor in the large hospital category.

Survey results showed that Wesley Medical Center employees were more satisfied than the national norm. Based on a four-point scale with four being the most favorable score and one being the least, Wesley Medical Center rated 3.43 in overall employee satisfaction, well above the 3.13 national average.

"Keeping morale high among Wesley team members is a top priority. We respect each staff member and the job they perform on a daily basis," said VP Human Resources Terry Trigg.
