Sean Johnson has been named Vice President of Physician Practices at Wesley Medical Center.  "The opportunity to return to Hattiesburg and work at the top rated hospital for quality in this state is indeed a blessing,” said Johnson.  “I'm optimistic about the future of Wesley Physician Services and proud to be a part of this team."

Johnson comes to Wesley from Quitman County Hospital in Marks, Mississippi where he served since 2004 as Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the for-profit critical care access hospital, senior care unity, swing bed program, intensive outpatient program and outpatient specialty clinic. 

Prior to serving in this position, he was Business Developer/Senior Account Manager with Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare of Mississippi in Jackson, and from 2000 – 2002 Sean was the Director of Business Development with Southern Bone and Joint Specialists in Hattiesburg. 

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Public Administration and a Master of Public Health Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi.
