W. Duncan Donald, III, M.D. Southern Surgical Associates Hattiesburg, MS Duncan Donald, III, M.D., is a general surgeon in Hattiesburg, MS. He is a member of the medical staff at Wesley Medical Center.  Dr. Donald is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in general surgery. Dr. Donald is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. Dr. Donald is Chief of Wesley Medical Center’s Department of Surgery. Dr. Donald recently co-authored “Concomitant Peripheral Vascular Repair with Aortic Endograft Placement: Is it Feasible?” in the Journal of MSMA. Dr. Donald received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, MS, where he also completed his internship and residency training in general surgery.
Wesley G. Girod, M.D. Southern Surgical Associates Hattiesburg, MS Wesley Girod, M.D., is a general surgeon in Hattiesburg, MS. He is a member of the medical staff at Wesley Medical Center and is the medical director of Eden MediSpa in Hattiesburg.   Dr. Girod is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.  He specializes in general surgery. Dr. Girod is a member of the Mississippi State Board of Surgery, the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. Additional, Dr. Girod serves on the Wesley Medical Center Ethics Committee Dr. Girod received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Louisiana College in Pineville. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, where he also completed his internship and residency training in general surgery.
Lee L. Turner, M.D. Southern Surgical Associates Hattiesburg, MS Lee Turner, M.D., is a general surgeon in Hattiesburg, MS.  He is a member of the medical staff at Wesley Medical Center. Dr. Turner is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.  He specializes in general surgery. Dr. Turner is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Mississippi State Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Tuner received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Mississippi College in Clinton and received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson. He went on to complete his residency training in general surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
