Michael Neuendorf - Chief Executive Officer

Michael S. Neuendorf serves as Wesley Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer. He joins the Wesley team after serving as CEO and Assistant CEO at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Alabama.

“My family and I are grateful for this opportunity that lies before us and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the community,” says Neuendorf. “Wesley has a long-standing tradition of excellence and I am committed to bringing passion and enthusiasm each and every day. I am eager to work with the Board, the medical staff, the employees and the community in every aspect. My family and I are proud to now call Hattiesburg home.”

Neuendorf earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He served in the United States Army as a member of the Alabama and Georgia National Guard from 1992 to 2003 where he was a medical evacuation pilot, unit mobilization officer and unit weapons qualification officer.

Prior to his tenure at South Baldwin, Neuendorf was the director of internal consulting at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He also worked with VHA Consulting Services and Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.

Neuendorf and his wife, Amanda, are the proud parents of three young boys, Sellers, Gabe and Beck.  

   
 

Travis Sisson - Chief Operating Officer

Travis Sisson serves as Wesley Medical Center's Chief Operating Officer.  Sisson graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama.  He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

“I am excited about becoming a part of the Wesley team and the Hattiesburg community,” said Sisson.  “Wesley is recognized for delivering quality care at the highest levels and I look forward to furthering our Mission of Loving God, Serving Others and Excelling in Healthcare.”

Prior to Wesley, Travis served as Chief Operating Officer at North Shore Regional Medical Center in Slidell, Louisiana where he was responsible for Radiology, Lab, EVS, Dietary, Therapy services, Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical Staff Affairs and Contract Administration.  While in Slidell, Travis was the 2004 Heart Walk Champion, raising a record $30,000 for the American Heart Association.  He was also an active member of the Slidell NorthShore Rotary Club.

Travis has also served as Administrative Resident, Director of Hotel Services, Director of Support Services and Assistant Vice President of Operations at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Travis and his wife Michelle have two sons, Cole and Cameron.  Travis is attending the Hattiesburg Noon Rotary Club.

   
 

Andrea Brenn - Chief Nursing Officer

Andrea J. Brenn serves as Wesley Medical Center's Chief Nursing Officer.  Brenn received her Diploma from the Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte, North Carolina and her B.S. in Health Care Management, graduating summa cum laude, from Pfeiffer University.  She earned her M.S. in Public Administration from International College in Naples, Florida, once again graduating summa cum laude.  She also completed the Nursing Leaders of the Future program at the Wharton School of Business.

“I am very excited to join the Hattiesburg community and the Wesley Medical Center family,” said Brenn.  “I am looking forward to working with Wesley’s very dynamic healthcare team.”

Prior to joining Wesley Medical Center, Brenn served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Good Samaritan Medical Center.  While serving in this role, the hospital underwent a JCAHO survey, which resulted in no recommendations for improvement in the delivery of patient care.  While there, Brenn also decreased contract labor by 50% and implemented strategies to increase compliance with Evidenced-Based Medicine initiatives to move the overall metric for Core Measures from 37% to 94%.

Andrea’s nursing roles have been vast, serving as the Regional Team Lead/Regional Nurse Specialist for the Tenet Corporate Commitment to Quality Initiative.  She was the Director of Nursing for Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, served as Administrative Director of Cardiology Services for Naples Community Hospital and was Nursing Supervisor for North Ridge Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale.

Jim Young - Chief Financial Officer

Jim Young has recently been named the Chief Financial Officer for Wesley Medical Center. He joins the Wesley executive team after serving as CFO of Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory, MS.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Delta State University. He began his career in finance at Young, Parkerson & Co. CPA in Greenville, MS. Jim has also served as CFO  at Alliance Healthcare System, McNairy Regional Hospital, Harris Hospital, Southwest Regional Medical Center and Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center.

“I am excited about this opportunity with Wesley Medical Center and believe my extensive experience in a variety of hospitals and hospital systems will serve me well in the position of Chief Financial Officer,” said Young.  “My family and I are pleased to be making our home in Hattiesburg.”

 Jim and his wife, the former Susan Brewer, are natives of Greenville, Mississippi.  Jim and Susan have has five children, Megan, Burland, Brewer, Blair and Brock.
